Welcome To Plano / Frisco

A tight-knit community to raise your family

If you drive approximately 20 miles north of Dallas, you will find yourself in the suburbs of Plano and Frisco. These neighboring towns are known for their family-friendly atmosphere, a plethora of parks and green spaces, charming historic areas, and a multitude of educational and recreational opportunities. Both of these cities have experienced rapid growth in the past 20 years since residents here prefer a quieter lifestyle outside of the hustle and bustle of city life.

Frisco’s history can be traced back to the 1840s with the settlement of American pioneers. In 1902, the Saint Louis-San Francisco Railway—more popularly known as the Frisco—was built in the area, sparking the construction of a new town. The Plano community also originated in the early 1840s and experienced rapid growth following the completion of the Houston and Texas Central Railway in 1872.

The home styles here range from ranch to modern and contemporary. Most homes are spacious properties set on green spaces. The median listing price is just over $394,000.

What To Love

With excellent schools, green spaces, and large homes, it’s no wonder why the majority of residents who live in these Texas towns are families. Retirees who appreciate a more peaceful environment also make up the residents here.

Dining, Shopping, & Entertainment

If you’re an avid football fan (particularly the Dallas Cowboys), then you’ll love living in Frisco. Frisco is home to The Star —the 91-acre campus of the Dallas Cowboys headquarters and practice facility. The Star gives fans the chance to connect with the Cowboys in new and innovative ways, allowing you to be close to the heart of the action.

It’s hard to find a perfectly-prepared steak, but Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Frisco is up for the challenge. Here, you can enjoy steaks, seafood, wine, or cocktails in a posh setting while live jazz music serenades you.
